CD Description


This collection of songs is by filmmaker/singer-songwriter Christopher Johnson under the pseudonym, David Kriss. This homegrown album consists of "demo" recordings of the first 10 of Johnson's songs and is an interesting listen.

From the "Billy Joel" style inspired songs to the "Beethoven" inspired first movement of a symphony entitled The Revelation (featured in Summer of Tomorrows), this collection of completely original material is a love letter to a person with whom a future is impossible.

The tracks maintain a hope as they hint at the somber reality that ultimately came to pass. Meant as a "goodbye gift" to that special person, Johnson plans to ultimately re-record the tracks along with the 20 others inspired by the subject of the first album as well as a set of 10 new songs written following that period. .
